Remifemin is a herbal remedy developed based on Cimicifuga, a medicinal plant that can also be known as St. Christopher's Weed and that is very effective in reducing typical menopausal symptoms, such as hot flushes, mood swings, anxiety, vaginal dryness, insomnia or night sweats.
The plant root used in these pills is traditionally used in Chinese and orthomolecular medicine because it helps to regulate a woman's hormone levels. Therefore, Remifemin treatment is a great natural alternative to relieve menopausal symptoms in women who cannot undergo hormone replacement because they have a family history of cancer of the uterus, breast or ovary.
Depending on the woman's age and the intensity of the symptoms, different types of the medication can be used:
- Remifemin: contains the original formula with Cimicifuga only and is used by women with mild symptoms of menopause or when menopause is already established; Remifemin Plus: in addition to Cimicífuga, it also contains St John's Wort, being used to relieve stronger symptoms of menopause, especially during the initial phase of menopause, which is the climacteric.

How to take
The recommended dose is 1 tablet twice a day, regardless of meals. The effects of this medicine start about 2 weeks after the start of treatment.
