Risedronate is an active substance in a bone resorption inhibitor medicine known commercially as Actonel.

This medication for oral use is indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis mainly after menopause.

How to Use Risedronato

Oral use

Adults

• Osteoporosis (induced by glucocorticoid): Administer 5 mg daily, at least 30 minutes before the first meal. Paget's disease (treatment): Administer 30 mg daily for 2 months, at least 30 minutes before the first meal.
