Aldazide is a medication indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure and swelling caused by diseases or problems in the heart, liver or kidneys. This remedy uses two types of diuretics, Hydrochlorothiazide and Spironolactone, which combine different mechanisms of action, increasing the elimination of fluid through the urine and allowing a reduction in blood pressure. In addition, Spironolactone helps to decrease potassium loss due to the diuretic effect.
