Penicillin, also known as Benzetacil, is an antibiotic that can be administered by injection and in some cases, can be taken orally. Benzetacil orally is best indicated for infections that are not very serious and should be taken every 6 hours, outside of meal times.
It should never be indicated in the most severe cases, because when taken, the pill will go through the whole digestive tract and will undergo some changes, decreasing its effect. In this case, it is preferable the injection that will take the medication directly into the bloodstream.
