Carobinha tea is made from its fresh or dried leaves, in the proportion of 1 liter of water for every 2 tablespoons of fresh leaves or 1 sachet of dry leaves. The water should be allowed to boil, turn off the heat and add the leaves, covering the pan for 5 minutes.
How to use
Carobinha can be used in the form of tea, essential oil or powder, which must be used according to medical advice. In general, essential oil or tea should be consumed 4 cups a day to stimulate sweating and to cure diseases such as malaria, syphilis, gonorrhea, bone pain, rheumatism and arthritis. In addition, gargling the carobinha also helps in fighting colds and sore throats.
To improve healing, warm carobinha tea should be used to wash wounds on the body and chicken pox blisters 3 times a day, or in sitz baths to treat ulcers and sexually transmitted diseases. In addition, carobinha powder can be applied to wounds and ulcers to fight infections, as it acts as a disinfectant, fighting microorganisms that increase the severity of injuries.
What to do to improve healing
To improve the healing of wounds without dressings, the area should be washed well with neutral and odorless soap, keep the place clean and airy and avoid making efforts or placing objects on the affected area. In the case of wounds that are covered with a dressing, only the first wash should be done with mild soap, while the next wash should be done with water only.
