How to use Mercaptopurine

Oral use

Adults

• Start treatment with the administration of 2.5 mg per kg of body weight, daily, in a single dose. The maintenance dose should be kept between 1.5 to 2.5 mg per kg of body weight.

Children over 5 years

• Start treatment with the administration of 1.5 mg per kg of body weight, daily, in a single dose. The maintenance dose should be kept between 1.5 to 2.5 mg per kg of body weight.
