Pravastatin is a medicine known commercially as Pravacol.
This medicine for oral use is indicated to reduce the concentration of cholesterol in the blood. The action of Pravastatin lowers levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and increases good cholesterol (HDL) in the blood.
