When the endometrial tissue that lines the uterus internally spreads through the abdominal cavity, it can cause adhesions in several tissues and organs, compromising its functioning. For this reason, some women diagnosed with endometriosis may have some difficulty getting pregnant naturally.
If the functioning of the ovaries or tubes is compromised, medical treatment is recommended that can remove all endometrial tissue that is making pregnancy difficult. - Medications such as Zoladex, which reduces the symptoms of the disease and its progression; Surgery to remove the endometrial tissue that is in the abdominal cavity; Practice sexual intercourse during the fertile period; Reduce anxiety.
The time it takes for a woman to become pregnant can vary due to factors such as age, number of children, time since diagnosis of endometriosis and classification of the disease. Usually, those who are able to get pregnant more easily are younger women, with a recent diagnosis of mild endometriosis.
