How to take
The recommended doses of Arcoxia vary according to the problem to be treated, and the following doses are generally indicated:
- Relief of acute pain, pain after dental or gynecological surgery: 1 tablet of 90 mg, taken once a day. Treatment of osteoarthritis and for the relief of chronic pain: 1 60 mg tablet, taken once a day; Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis: 1 90 mg tablet, taken once a day.
Arcoxia tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, without breaking or chewing, and can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
Some of the side effects of Arcoxia may include diarrhea, weakness, swelling in the legs or feet, dizziness, gas, cold, nausea, poor digestion, headache, extreme tiredness, heartburn, palpitations, changes in blood tests, pain or discomfort in the stomach, increased blood pressure or bruising.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated for patients with a history of heart disease or problems, heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery, chest angina, narrowing or blockage of arteries in the extremities of the body or stroke and for patients with allergies to Etoricoxib or some other component of the formula.
