How to Use Valdecoxib

Injectable Use

Adults

• Moderate to severe pain: Administer 40 mg intramuscularly or intravenously. Prevention of surgical pain: Administer 40 mg, preferably intravenously, 30 to 45 minutes before the surgical procedure. It may be necessary to continue treatment in the postoperative period.

Dose limit for adults: 80 mg per day.
