How to take
Helmiben - oral suspension
- Children between 5 and 10 years old should take 1 teaspoon of suspension, twice a day every 12 hours, for 3 days.
Helmiben NF - tablets
- Adults should take 1 tablet, twice a day every 12 hours. Children between 11 and 15 years old should take half a tablet, 3 times a day every 8 hours. Children between 5 and 10 years of age should take half a tablet, twice a day every 12 hours.
The treatment must be done for 3 consecutive days and the tablets must be chewed and swallowed together with a glass of water
Side effects
Some of the side effects of Helmiben may include drowsiness, diarrhea, itching or redness of the skin, nausea, abdominal pain, anorexia or poor appetite, dizziness, poor digestion, headache or vomiting.
Contraindications
Helmiben is contraindicated for pregnant or breastfeeding women and for patients with allergies to Tiabendazole, Mebendazole or any of the components of the formula.
