Nebacidermis an ointment that can be used to fight boils, other wounds with pus, or burns, but should only be used under medical advice.
This ointment contains neomycin sulfate and zincic bacitracin, which are two antibiotic substances that fight the proliferation of bacteria on the skin.
What is it for
Nebaciderme is used to fight infections of the skin or mucous membranes, caused by different bacteria, such as: in the "folds" of the skin, in the mouth, inflamed hair, wounds with pus, infected acne and small burns on the skin. This ointment can also be used after a cut or wound on the skin to prevent infection.
This ointment can be used on adults and children.
How to use
A thin layer of this ointment should be applied to the injured skin, 3 to 5 times a day. When it is necessary to apply the ointment over a large area, such as on the legs or on all the backs, the maximum use time is 8 to 10 days.
Before applying the ointment, wash the wound with soap and water, and after drying the skin, apply the ointment with the help of gauze.
You can notice the improvement of the wound 2 to 3 days after starting to use this ointment.
Possible side effects
When used in large quantities it can affect the functioning of the kidneys. Partial paralysis of the muscles, tingling sensation or muscle pain may also occur.
The doctor should be warned if symptoms such as itching, body and / or facial redness, swelling, hearing loss or any other symptoms that have not been observed before using this ointment appear.
When not to be used
This ointment should not be used if you are allergic to neomycin, aminoglycoside antibiotics and other components of the formula. It should also not be used in case of severe kidney failure, and if there are any changes in the labyrinthine system such as severe hearing problems, labyrinthitis or loss of balance. In addition, its use is discouraged during pregnancy, breastfeeding, in newborn babies or those who are still breastfeeding.
Nebaciderm should not be used on the eyes.
