Tensaldin is a medication used to fight pain and colic, based on dipyrone, caffeine and isometepten mucate.
Indications
Analgesic and antispasmodic effect, being useful in combating several types of pain and colic.
Contraindications
In cases of hypertension, allergy to dipyrone or some other component of the formula, porphyria, congenital glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase disease.
Adverse effects
Increased sensitivity in the mucous membranes of the mouth, eyes, skin and nasal region, if this occurs, the drug should be stopped. Thrombocytopenia, pancytopine, agranulocytosis, anemia, marrow aplasia, if used for a long period of time.
How to use
Adults and children over 50 kg: From 1 to 2 tablets. Or 20 to 40 drops.
Children between 25 and 35 kg: 10 to 20 drops, From 20 to 25 kg: 8 to 15 drops, From 10 to 15 kg: 4 to 5 drops,
From 8 to 9 kg: 3 to 4 drops, Under 5kg, 1 drop.
All doses can be repeated 3 to 4 times a day.
Attention
A red color may occur in the urine due to dipyrone. This is a normal condition.
