Nimorazole is an anti-protozoan medication known commercially as Naxogin.

How to use Nimorazole

Oral use

Adults

• Trichomoniasis: Administer 2 g of Nimorazole in a single daily dose. Giardiasis and Amebiasis: Administer 500 mg of Nimorazole, twice a day. Treatment should last for 5 days. Ulcerative gingivitis: Administer 500 mg of Nimorazole, twice a day, for 2 days.

Children (Giardiasis and amoebiasis)

• Over 10 kg of weight: Administer 500 mg of Nimorazole per day, for 5 days. Under 10 kg of weight: Administer 250 mg of Nimorazole per day, for 5 days.
