Nomegestrol is a female sex hormone known commercially as Lutenil.

This oral medication is indicated for menopausal symptoms and irregularities in the menstrual cycle. Its action produces changes in the endometrium (transforms it into a secretory endometrium), thus mitigating irregularities.

Menopause (hormone replacement); secondary amenorrhea; dysfunctional uterine bleeding (due to hormonal imbalance and in the absence of organic pathologies).

How to use Nomegestrol

Oral use

Adults

• 5 mg daily for 10 to 14 days per cycle. The dosage and duration of treatment may change due to the nature of the indication and the patient's response.
