Novacort, whose active ingredients are ketoconazole, neomycin sulfate and betamethasone, is a topical drug with anti-inflammatory action from the Ache laboratory. Can be found in the form of cream or ointment
Indications
It is indicated for the treatment of skin diseases, where anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antimycotic actions are required, caused by sensitive germs, such as contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, intertrigo, dyshidrosis and neurodermatitis.
Contraindications
Do not use in the eyes, or by individuals allergic to any of the components of the formula. It should also not be used in infections such as chickenpox, herpes simplex or zoster, cutaneous tuberculosis or syphilis.
Adverse effects
Burning, irritation, dryness of the skin, peeling, hypertrichosis, hypopigmentation, stretch marks, dermatitis may occur. Prolonged use can lead to secondary adrenal insufficiency.
How to use
Apply to the affected area 1 or 2 times a day.
