Otociriax is an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drug indicated to treat bacterial otitis externa in children, adults and babies over 1 year of age. This medicine is composed of ciprofloxacin and hydrocortisone and is sold in the form of drops.

What is it for
Otociriax is used to treat bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Acinetobacter baumannii, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Enterobacteriaceae, Enterococcus faecalis and Proteus mirabilis .
How to use
The person who is going to use the medication on his side should be laid down, with the affected ear up. The usual dose is 3 drops, twice a day, for 7 consecutive days.
You should stay at least 30 seconds after dripping the droplets in your ear.
Each ml of this medicine is equivalent to 34 drops.
When not to use
This medication should not be used in case of ear infection caused by fungi, viruses such as herpes simplex, herpes zoster or others, auricular tuberculosis, in case of perforation of the eardrum, against otitis media. It should also not be used in case of allergy to benzyl alcohol, hydrocortisone, ciprofloxacin, quinolonic derivatives or any of the components of the formula. During pregnancy or lactation, it should only be used with medical advice.
