In addition, the active substances in this medication have anti-mineralocorticoid and anti-androgenic effects, which benefit women who have fluid retention of hormonal origin, acne and seborrhea.
This contraceptive is produced by Bayer laboratories and can be purchased in conventional pharmacies in cartons of 21 tablets, for a price that can vary between 40 and 60 reais, or in packs of 3 cartons, for a price of around 165 reais, and must be used only at the recommendation of the gynecologist.
How to use
The contraceptive pill should be taken daily, taking 1 tablet according to the guidelines of the pack, for 21 days, always at the same time. After these 21 days, you must take a 7-day break and start the new pack on the eighth day.
What to do if you forget to take

When more than 1 pill from the same packet is forgotten, a doctor should be consulted and, if vomiting or severe diarrhea occurs 3 to 4 hours after taking the pill, it is recommended to use another contraceptive method during the next 7 days, such as using a condom.
Who should not use
The Yasmin contraceptive must not be used in the following situations:
