How to use
Each carton of Yaz contains 24 tablets that must be taken at the same time each day.
It is recommended to start by taking the pill with the number 1, which is under the word "Start", taking the remaining pills, one each day, following the direction of the arrows until you take the 24 pills.
After finishing the 24 pills, you should take a 4-day break without taking any pills. Bleeding usually occurs 2 to 3 days after taking the last pill.
What to do if you forget to take
When forgetting is less than 12 hours, take the forgotten tablet as soon as it is remembered and continue to take the rest at the usual time, even if it means having to take 2 tablets on the same day. In these cases, the contraceptive effect of the pill is maintained.

Possible side effects
The main side effects that can arise with the use of Yaz include mood swings, depression, migraine, nausea, breast pain, bleeding between menstrual periods, vaginal bleeding and decreased or loss of sexual desire.
Who should not use
The Yaz contraceptive should not be used in people with a current or previous history of thrombosis, pulmonary embolism or other cardiovascular diseases, with a high risk for the formation of arterial or venous clots, migraine accompanied by visual symptoms, difficulty in speaking, weakness or falling asleep in any part of the body, diabetes mellitus with damage to blood vessels or liver disease or cancer that can develop under the influence of sex hormones.
In addition, it should also not be used by people who suffer from kidney malfunction, presence or history of liver tumor, presence of unexplained vaginal bleeding, occurrence or suspicion of pregnancy and hypersensitivity to any of the components.
