Milgamma is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B1 deficiencies caused by excess alcoholic beverages, as well as in the treatment of symptomatic polyneuropathy associated with diabetes, which manifest mainly in the form of pain and tingling sensations in the legs in diabetic and alcoholic patients.

How to use Milgamma

How to use Milgamma consists of using 1 tablet of 150 mg of Milgamma, 2 to 3 times a day, to make the doses of 300 mg to 450 mg of benfotiamine per day, depending on the severity of the neuropathy, for at least 4 to 8 weeks. After this initial period, maintenance treatment should be based on the therapeutic response, and it is recommended to take 1 tablet a day, corresponding to 150 mg of benfotiamine.

The dosage and dosage of the medication should be indicated by the endocrinologist.

Adverse effects of Milgamma

The adverse effects of Milgamma can be rashes, hives, anaphylactic reactions and nausea.
