Moclobemide is an oral medicine known commercially as Aurorix.
This medication is an antidepressant, which acts by increasing the concentration of serotonin and dopamine in the central nervous system, which are neurotransmitters responsible for the feelings of pleasure and well-being, thus resulting in the reduction of symptoms of depression.

Depression.

Agitation; anxiety; dry mouth; itch; vision disorders; sleep disorders; Headache; skin allergies; gastrointestinal disorders; urticaria; vertigo.
Contraindications for Moclobemide
Pregnant or lactating women.
How to use Moclobemide
Oral use
Adults
- Start treatment for depression with the administration of 300 mg per day of Moclobemide, divided into 2 or 3 doses. According to the clinical response after 1 week of treatment, doses may be increased up to a maximum of 600 mg per day.
The medicine should be taken after meals.
