How to use

The dosage should be determined by the doctor because it varies according to the problem to be treated, the person's age and their response to treatment. However, the dose recommended by the manufacturer is as follows:

1. Adults and children over 12 years old

The recommended starting dose is 5 to 10 ml, 2 to 4 times a day, which should not exceed 40 ml of syrup in a 24-hour period.

2. Children aged 6 to 12

The recommended starting dose is 2.5 ml, 3 to 4 times a day and should not exceed 20 ml of syrup in a 24-hour period.

3. Children from 2 to 6 years old

The recommended starting dose is 1.25 to 2.5 mL, 3 times a day, and the dose should not exceed 10 mL of syrups in a 24-hour period.

Koide D should not be used in children under 2 years of age.

Who should not use

Koide D should not be used by people who have systemic yeast infection, in preterm infants and newborns, people who are receiving therapy with monoaminoxidase inhibitors and who are hypersensitive to any of the components of the drug or to drugs with a similar composition.

In addition, this medicine should also not be used by diabetics, because it contains sugar, even during pregnancy and breastfeeding, unless directed by the doctor.

Possible side effects

The most common side effects that can occur with treatment with Koide D are gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, electrolytic, dermatological, neurological, endocrine, ophthalmic, metabolic and psychiatric disorders.
