The spots on the uterus can have several meanings, but they are usually not serious or cancer, but treatment must be started to prevent the spot from progressing to a more serious condition.

The main causes of spotting in the uterus are:
1. HPV virus infection
The presence of white, thick patches on the cervix may indicate the presence of the HPV virus. 2. Cervicitis

3. Colpitis
Colpitis is inflammation of the vagina and cervix caused by the presence of microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi or protozoa, leading to the occurrence of milky white discharge in addition to the presence of red spots in the uterus. 4. Endometriosis
Endometriosis is the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus, as in the intestine, ovary, tubes and bladder, causing very severe pain, especially during the menstrual period. In endometriosis the gynecologist can identify the presence of dark or red spots during a routine examination.

5. Cervical ectopia

6. Use of contraceptives
