Somatropin is a medication known commercially as Genotropin, Humatrope, Norditropin, Saizen or Somatrop. This medicine is for injectable use and similar to the natural growth hormone.
Somatrapine stimulates skeletal growth, increases the size and number of muscle cells and reduces the concentration of fat in the individual.

How to use Somatropin
Injectable Use
Adults
- Administer up to 0.006 mg of Somatropin per kg of body weight daily.
Children
- Administer up to 0.3 mg of Somatropin per kg of body weight per week. Divide the drug into 7 doses, applying one each day.
