To treat diabetes insipidus in the case of adults, 100 to 250 mg is given in a single dose and, if necessary, adjust the dose every 3 to 5 days, with the dose limit for adults: 500 mg per day.
Side effects
Some side effects of the drug include reduced white and red blood cells on blood test, anemia, low blood sugar, reduced appetite, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, blisters and ulcerations throughout the body and itch.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in pregnancy risk C, diabetic ketoacidosis with or without coma, major surgery, diabetic coma, other conditions that cause high glucose fluctuations, heart or kidney failure.
