Marcoumar is an anticoagulant medication that has Femprocoumon as its active substance.

Contraindications for Marcoumar

Pregnant or lactating women; after recent surgery on the eyes, backbone or brain; vitamin K deficiency; liver or kidney disease; bacterial endocartitis; high pressure; bleeding or bleeding tendency.

How to use Marcoumar

Oral use

Adults

• Start treatment with doses of up to 24 mg per day and adjust them according to the patients' clinical response. The average maintenance dose is between 0.75 to 6 mg per day.
