If you have a 28-day menstrual cycle, mark your first menstrual day on the calendar and count 14 days. On this date, you will be on your fertile day. But, as this day can vary due to stressful situations, hormonal changes and others, one should consider having intercourse 2 days before and 2 days after the fertile day, totaling 5 days, thus forming the fertile period.
