How to take

Cimegripe has in its composition paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate and phenylephrine hydrochloride indicated for the treatment of flu and cold symptoms.
Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic, which inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid, by blocking the enzyme cycloxygenase, decreasing pain and fever, chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors, decreasing or inhibiting the action of histamine, reducing allergic symptoms, such as nasal congestion, runny nose or sneezing, and phenylephrine acts as a nasal decongestant, due to its vasoconstrictive action.
Who should not use
Cimegripe is contraindicated for people with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, people with diabetes and those under 18 years of age.
In addition, this medication should also not be used by people with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate hypertrophy, chronic kidney disease, severe liver failure, thyroid problems, pregnancy and lactation, without medical control.
