Silomat is a medication that has Clobutinol as its active ingredient.
This medication is indicated for the treatment of dry cough (without phlegm), acting directly on the central nervous system at the site that controls the cough reflex.
The drug's effect appears between 15 and 30 minutes after its administration, and lasts between 6 and 8 hours, immediately after that time it is necessary to take a new dose.

How to use Silomat
Oral use
Adults
- Administer 40 mg of Silomat 3 times a day.
Children
- Up to 3 years: Administer 10 to 20 mg of Silomat, 3 times a day. Above 3 years to 12 years: Administer 20 to 30 mg of Silomat, 3 times a day.
