Singulair is the name of the oral anti-asthmatic, which uses the substance named Montelukast as an active ingredient and can be found in the children's version, Singulair Baby. Singulair reduces bronchospasm, swelling and inflammation of the airways.
Singulair can be taken with or without food.

How to use
Bronchial asthma
- Adults and adolescents from 15 years: 10 mg per day at bedtime. Children 6 to 14 years: 5 mg per day at bedtime (chewable tablet only). Children from 2 to 5 years: 4 mg per day at bedtime. chewable or oral granules). Children from 6 months to 2 years: 4 mg daily at bedtime (oral granules).
Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm
- Adults and adolescents from 15 years: 10 mg less than 2 hours before exercise every 24 hours if necessary.
