Taxotere is a medication that has Docetaxel as its active ingredient.
This medicine is used by injection and acts by preventing the spread of cancer cells in the body. This medicine should only be used in case of failure in the previous chemotherapy treatment.

Breast cancer; Lung cancer.
Side effects of Taxotere
Infections; fever; anemia; redness of the skin; skin allergies with or without itching; chest tension; backache; dyspnoea; chills; fluid retention; weight gains; nausea; vomiting; diarrhea; Low pressure; allergy at the injection site.
Taxotere contraindications
Pregnancy risk D; lactating women; Individuals liver failure; hypersensitivity to Taxotere; under 16 years old.
How to use Taxotere
Injectable Use
Adults
- Administer 100 mg by intravenous infusion over 1 hour, every 3 weeks.
Patients should only use this medication after receiving an oral corticosteroid (16 mg / day of Dexamethasone, for 5 days).
