Amplictil

Amplictil is an oral and injectable medication that has Chlorpromazine as its active substance.

This medication is an antipsychotic indicated for several psychological disorders such as schizophrenia and psychosis.

Amplictil blocks dopamine impulses, decreasing the symptoms of psychological illnesses, it also has a sedative effect that calms and relaxes patients.

Indications of Amplictil

Psychosis; schizophrenia; nausea; vomiting; anxiety; uninterrupted hiccups; eclampsia.

Contraindications for Amplictil

How to use Amplictil

Oral use

Adults

Psychoses: Administer 30 to 75 mg of Amplictil daily, the dose can be divided into 4 doses. If necessary, increase the dose twice a week, by 20 to 50 mg, until the symptoms are controlled. Nausea and vomiting: Administer 10 to 25 mg of Amplictil every 4 to 6 hours as long as necessary.
