Atopic diseases are those caused by an allergic reaction caused by the activation of immunoglobulin E (IgE). These come into action in the presence of harmless agents for most of the population, such as pollen, mold, animal hair and mites, for example.

Some examples of atopic diseases are: Allergic rhinosinusitis, asthma, allergic conjunctivitis, urticaria and atopic dermatitis.

In most cases, in addition to the individual, someone else in the family suffers from allergies. These should be controlled with the use of antihistamines and keeping as far away as possible from the allergy triggering agent. When this is not possible, one can try taking so-called "vaccines", injections that relieve allergic attacks, sometimes even eliminating them.

Some symptoms of an allergic reaction are: coughing, sneezing, redness and itching of the skin and / or eyes. In the presence of these symptoms seek medical attention.
