How to use

Donaren can be used in adults as directed by a psychiatrist and the dosage varies according to the patient's characteristics. In addition, it is important to take the tablet right after meals to avoid stomach irritation.

Usually, the doctor recommends using 50 to 150 mg per day, orally, divided into 2 times a day, every 12 hours or a single dose before bed. The maximum dose is 800 mg and should only be used in very severe cases.

In the case of the elderly, the doctor generally recommends taking initially 75 mg / day, in divided doses and, if well tolerated, gradually increase at intervals of 3 or 4 days.

Side effects

Donaren's main side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, unpleasant taste and dry mouth. When prolonged or inappropriate erection of the penis occurs, they should discontinue the medication and consult the doctor.

Contraindications
