How to take
Generally, the recommended dose is 1 to 2 tablets at the first sign of migraine and, if symptoms persist or worsen, it is recommended to take 1 tablet every 30 minutes, up to a maximum of 6 tablets per day. Learn to recognize the symptoms of migraine.
This medicine should not be used for more than 10 consecutive days.
How it works
Enxak has in its composition dihydroergotamine mesylate and dipyrone, which exert a vasoconstrictive and analgesic action, respectively, relieving headache. In addition, it also contains caffeine, which enhances the action of dihydroergotamine and dipyrone.
Possible side effects
Some of the most common side effects that may occur during treatment with Enxak are epigastric pain, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, muscle pain, vomiting, paraesthesia, heartburn, dry mouth, asthenia, hypotension, tachycardia, skin rash , increased sweating, abdominal pain, mental confusion and poor digestion.
Who should not use
Enxak should not be used by people who are hypersensitive to any of the components in the formula, children under 18, pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding.
In addition, it is also contraindicated in people with hemiplegic / basilar migraine, history of myocardial infarction, peripheral vascular disease, prolonged hypotension, sepsis,
severe liver or kidney failure, uncontrolled hypertension, ischemic heart disease, angina or who have undergone vascular surgery.
Due to the presence of sodium dipyrone in its formulation, Enxak is also contraindicated in cases of blood dyscrasias, bone marrow suppression, history of gastrointestinal ulceration, hemorrhage or perforation, pre-existing infection and porphyria.
