Queyrat erythroplasia is a precancerous red lesion that develops on the penis, predominantly in older men, with a peak prevalence at 65-74 years of age. The floor of the mouth, the tongue and the soft palate are the most common sites of involvement, and multiple lesions may be present. This disorder usually occurs in uncircumcised men.

The symptoms of Queyrat's erythroplasia are:
- Reddish, velvety and well-defined area that forms on the skin of the penis, in general, on the glans or at its base.
The diagnosis of Queyrat's erythroplasia is determined by biopsy of the lesion.
Queyrat erythroplasia treatment
The treatment for Queyrat erythroplasia is usually based on the application of a cream containing fluorouracil.
Monitoring the evolution of short dalos during and after treatment, since the disease has a potential risk of cancer. As an alternative treatment, removal of the abnormal tissue can be performed.
