Gentagran

Gentagran is an antibacterial medication that has Gentamicin as its active substance.

This ophthalmic drug is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and dacryocystitis. Its action consists of interfering in the synthesis of proteins of the bacteria that end up weakened and eliminated from the organism, thus improving the symptoms of the infection.

Bacterial blepharitis; Blepharoconjunctivitis; Bacterial conjunctivitis; bacterial keratitis; bacterial keratoconjunctivitis; dacryocystitis.

How to use Gentagran

Ophthalmic use

Adults and teenagers

• Ointment: Apply a small amount of the product to the conjunctiva every 8 or 12 hours. Eye drops: In mild infections, apply a drop every 4 hours, in severe infections it is recommended to apply eye drops every hour.
