Arelix

Arelix is an oral medication used as a diuretic and antihypertensive that has Piretanide as its active ingredient. It acts by inhibiting the reabsorption of sodium in the kidneys and reducing the volume of liquid in the body.

Arelix indications

Arelix is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension. In severe hypertension, Arelix can be combined with non-diuretic antihypertensive drugs.

This medication is also indicated to promote the excretion of fluid and to relieve the work of the heart in patients with heart failure and edema resulting from liver or kidney diseases.

How to use Arelix

For hypertensive patients it is recommended to take 1 to 2 capsules a day.
