Parlodel indications

Parlodel is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, amenorrhea, female infertility, hypogonadism, acromegaly and for the treatment of patients with prolactin-secreting adenomas. In certain cases it may be indicated to dry breast milk.

How to use Parlodel

The use of Parlodel must be guided by the doctor, according to the disease to be treated. However, it is recommended to take the medicine before sleeping with milk, to prevent the onset of nausea.

Parlodel side effects

Side effects of Parlodel include heartburn, stomach pain, dark stools, sudden onset of sleep, decreased breathing rate, difficulty breathing, chest pain, pain in the back, swelling in the legs, pain when urinating, headache, blurred vision, muscle stiffness, agitation, fever, fast heart rate, drowsiness, dizziness, nasal congestion, constipation and vomiting.

Contraindications of Parlodel

Parlodel is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, allergy to drugs containing ergot alkaloids, high blood pressure, severe heart disease, symptoms or history of mental problems, pregnancy, premenstrual syndrome, galactorrhea with or without amenorrhea, breast engorgement after delivery, short luteal phase, in breastfeeding and in children under 15 years old.
