Busonid is a medicine that has Budesonide as an active ingredient. It is also known commercially as Budecort Aqua or Pulmicort.
Busonid is an anti-inflammatory administered through oral or nasal inhalation, widely used in the treatment of inflammation in the bronchi.
Busonid indications
Chronic bronchial asthma; allergic rhinitis, seasonal rhinitis; non-allergic rhinitis; benign tumors in the nostrils (nasal polyps).
Side effects of Busonid
Narrowing of the bronchi; pharyngitis; nasal irritation; bleeding from the nose; cough.
Contraindications for Busonid
Pregnancy risk C; lactating women; individuals with nose injuries.
How to use Busonid
Use by oral and nasal inhalation
Adults
- Use 200 to 400 mcg, 1 or 2 times a day.
Children
- 6 years of age or older: Use 200 mcg, 2 times a day.
