Caldê is a medication used to replace calcium in states of deficiency or situations in which the needs of this mineral are increased, such as in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, thyrotoxicosis, hypoparathyroidism, osteomalacia and rickets.
In addition, Caldê also contains vitamin D, known as cholecalciferol, which works by increasing the absorption of calcium in the intestine and its fixation on the bones, being therefore very important in the treatment of vitamin D deficiency states in people who need replacement of calcium.
