Nasal phenylephrine is a medication used to treat a stuffy nose. There is also phenylephrine in ophthalmic version, which is used to dilate the pupil in surgery for example.
This drug for nasal application has the main action of causing a vasoconstriction of the small veins inside the nose, thus decreasing the volume of secretion produced and thus the feeling of runny nose, which occurs in colds and flu.

How to use Phenylephrine
Nasal use
- The medicine bottle must be inserted into the nostril, and when inhaling, the nebulizer bottle should be lightly pressed, a jet of the medicine is sufficient. This procedure must be repeated 2 times a day.
