The way to use Flurazepam can be 15 to 30 mg before bedtime (1/2 to 1 tablet). For patients over 65 or debilitated, an initial dose of 15 mg daily (1/2 tablet) is recommended.

Treatment should be as soon as possible. Treatment usually ranges from a few days to 2 weeks, up to a maximum of 4 weeks

The main side effects of Flurazepam include dry mouth, generalized itching, cramps, mental confusion, constipation, diarrhea, slurred speech, joint pain, weakness, lack of muscle coordination, bitter taste, excess saliva, excessive sweating, redness of the skin, dizziness and vomiting.

Contraindications for Flurazepam (Dalmadorm)

Flurazepam is contraindicated for children, women during the first trimester of pregnancy and patients with myasthenia gravis, severe or chronic lung failure, sleep apnea syndrome, liver problems, kidney disease or who are hypersensitive to benzodiazepines.
