How to use NuvaRing

How to use NuvaRing should be:

Choose a good position to place the ring. Hold the NuvaRing between your thumb and index fingers, squeeze and insert it into the vagina, gently pushing it in until you don't feel any discomfort. The ring should be removed from the vagina 3 weeks later. be removed by holding the index finger on the edge of the ring, or grabbing the ring between the index and middle fingers and pulling the ring out.

NuvaRing should only be placed again after 1 week of being removed from the vagina.

Side effects of NuvaRing

Some side effects of NuvaRing can be stomach pain, yeast infection in the vagina, headache, breast pain, painful menstrual cramps, acne, weight gain or increased appetite.

Contraindications for NuvaRing

NuvaRing is contraindicated in patients who have or have had a blood clot in the veins of the legs, lungs or other organs, benign or malignant tumor in the liver, inflammation of the pancreas, migraine, diabetes with blood vessel damage, heart attack or stroke and if you have hx of breast or genital cancer.

It is also contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any component of the formula.
