Terbinafine can be purchased from conventional pharmacies with commercial names such as Lamisil, Micoter, Lamisilate or Micosil, and can therefore be sold in gel, spray or tablet format after medical advice.

Indications
Terbinafine is indicated for the treatment of athlete's foot, tinea feet, tinea groin, body tinea, candidiasis on the skin and pityriasis versicolor.
How to use
How Terbinafine is used depends on its form of presentation, and in the case of Terbinafine gel or spray it is recommended:
- Athlete's foot, body tinnitus or groin tincture: 1 application per day, for 1 week; Treatment of pityriasis versicolor: apply 1 or 2 times a day, according to the doctor's guidance, for 2 weeks; Candidiasis on the skin: 1 or 2 applications daily, under the doctor's recommendation, for 1 week.
In the case of Terbinafine in tablet form, the dosage should be:

Side effects
The main side effects of Terbinafine include nausea, stomach pain, burning in the esophagus, diarrhea, loss of appetite, hives and muscle or joint pain.
Contraindications
Terbinafine is contraindicated for children under 12, as well as patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formula.
