How to use
Zaditen can be used in syrup, tablets, syrup and eye drops depending on the type of allergy. The doctor usually recommends:
- Capsules: 1 to 2 mg, 2 times a day for adults and for children between 6 months to 3 years 0.5 mg, 2 times a day and over 3 years: 1 mg, 2 times a day; Syrup: children between 6 months and 3 years: 0.25 ml of Zaditen 0.2 mg / ml, syrup (0.05 mg), per kg of body weight twice daily, in the morning and at night and children over 3 years: 5 ml (one measuring cup) of syrup or 1 capsule twice a day, with the morning and evening meal; Eye drops: 1 or 2 drops in the conjunctival sac, 2 to 4 times a day for adults and for children over 3 years of age 1 or 2 drops (0.25 mg) in the conjunctival sac, 2 to 4 times a day.
Side effects
Some side effects include, irritability, difficulty falling asleep and nervousness.
Contraindications
The use of Zaditen is contraindicated by pregnancy, breastfeeding, when there is a decrease in liver function or a history of prolonged QT interval.
