Omnaris is an anti-inflammatory for nasal use that acts by inhibiting the cells involved in the allergic process. This medicine is not generic.
Indications
Allergic rhinitis (seasonal or perennial).
Side effects
Headache; nosebleed; nasal discomfort; irritation in the nose and throat; sore throat.
Contraindications
Pregnancy risk C; breast-feeding; hypersensitivity to ciclesonide; recent ulcer in the nasal septum; recent nasal surgery or trauma.
How to use
Nasal Use
Adults and Children 12 years and older
- 100 mcg (2 sprays) in each nostril, once a day.
Children from 6 to 11 years old
- 100 mcg (2 sprays) in each nostril, once a day.
