1. Aloe Vera Balm
Aloe vera balm is an excellent way to treat burns as this plant has astringent and regenerating properties that reduce blisters and accelerate healing, reducing skin marks.
Ingredients
- 1 leaf of aloe
Method of preparation
Cut the aloe leaf in half and, using a dessert spoon, remove the gel from inside the leaf and store in a clean container. Then, with a gauze or clean cloth, spread the gel over the burned skin, applying up to 3 times a day.
2. Balsam with cornstarch and petroleum jelly
The natural balm with cornstarch is an excellent treatment for burns, as it reduces skin irritation, pain and helps to lighten the skin.
Ingredients
- 100 grams of Vaseline; 2 tablespoons of Maisena.
Method of preparation
Mix the petroleum jelly in a frosted or dark glass container with the cornstarch and mix well until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Then, apply a thin layer on the skin. Repeat this procedure several times a day.
3. Balsam with egg white
Egg white is a great balm for sunburn, as it protects the wound and, due to the large amounts of vitamins, increases the production of collagen in the skin helping to heal the burn.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
Method of preparation
Separate the yolk from the egg white and beat the white a little to make it more liquid, in the form of a gel. Apply the gel on the burned area and let it be absorbed by the skin. Repeat the precedence several times a day.
