Side effects of cisplatin
The main side effects of cisplatin include tinnitus, decreased hearing, anemia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, loss of taste, seizures, muscle cramps, increased blood pressure and swelling of the face.
Contraindications for cisplatin
Cisplatin is contraindicated for pregnant women, breastfeeding women and patients with kidney failure, hearing loss, myelodepression or a history of allergy to any medication with platinum in its composition.
