Amiodarone hydrochloride is the main compound in Atlazil, a drug used to fight cardiac arrhythmias, which is properly regulated by the FDA.
Indications
Atrial flutter, cardiac arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, lactation, sinus node disease, sinus bradycardia without pacemaker, 2nd and 3rd sinoatrial and atrioventricular block, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism.
Side effects
Nausea, vomiting, constipation, altered taste, ataxia, tremor, paresthesia, muscle weakness, headache, insomnia, dizziness, pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia, depression, bradycardia, hypotension, deposition of amiodarnoa crystals in the cornea.
How to use
From 100 to 200 mg 2 or 3 times a day.
